I realize in the US. that xm and sirius are the same outfit but in Canada they are still to different companies. Anybody know if it is possible to get a sirius reciever rather than xm as I have a subscription with sirius already?

I did not know that. That's interesting. Kind of like Circuit City closing in US but not in Canada (last I heard anyhow).

You would have to use your own Sirius receiver and hook it up through AUX. Unless they are willing to work with you and let you switch since there is some sort of relationship in place.

Did you get it from Victory because I have only seen xm offered so far?

Not from Victory, it is a Starmate 5 ~$100 and sits on a nice little pillow in the glove box, plugged in and onto the AUX wire. 30 preset channels. It works all the time and because I have Sirius on my truck is cost ~ $6.00 per month. I think I paid that much last year in Ipod cords trying to make a gen 3 to work. Gave that up and went to the Satelite!!!! Tunes all the time now...plus comedy, weather, news!

+1 on the Starmate 5...$100 at Best Buy...$6/month. I have mine mounted on the center console with the supplied suction cup mount. Has been on the bike for 4 months/8000 miles suction cup has come loose twice. I absolutely love it!!!
