I have the tallest Cee Baily, and LOVE it! In the rain, some of the water runs down the inside, so I'm going to get some aquarium tubing, split it, and take to Sturgis with me, and hopefully not have to use it. I saw in another post that this is suposed to work if you put it on the top of the windsheild.

Does anyone have a pic of the tallest (22" I think) windshield from Cee Baileys installed on their bike? It appears that the Cee Baileys is clear at the bottom allowing you to see the black frame of the windshield mount. This is a problem because I think it will look cheap when you see something you know you are not supposed to see!!

It does! I'm going to put a wide peace of Black electrical tape ccross the bottom inside, and take a exacto knife and cut around to mounting bracket. I wish it was painted. MAYBE SOME COULD MAKE A TEMPLATE TO BUT SO WE COULD PAINT IT BLACk, OR EVEN BETTER, A BLACK DECAL.

I am contacting Cee to check ot see what they can do or suggest. But these are cut from a larger piece of plastic, and I am not sure if they can do anything. I might call a local car tint place and see what they might charge for a dark strip on the bottom. If it seems like too much to spend, I don't think the clear bottom will really bother me that much.

Well, it seemed like a good idea, but calling around I found that tint doesn't work on plastic. There are some model tinting paints, but a little research found them to be hit and miss. What I might do is just get some black plastic tip covers for the silver screws. That would be less costly, and at least the silver screws wouldn't show so much.

Hmm...

Does the windshield ship flat or pre-curved?

I wonder if it could be shipped to Victory/Polaris & have that bottom part blacked out. I like the size of that large Cee's windshield but I have a 10th & there's NO WAY IN HELL I'm putting that thing on my bike where you can see the frame/mounting bracket through the shield! Not gonna happen!

The Cee Bailey 22" clear shield came to me PRECURVED.

The lack of blacking to hide the mounting brackets is no issue at all to me. I cleaned up the mounting brackets before installing the shield and, to my primitive eye, it looks great.

I wonder if you could take off the windshield mounting bracket and have it chromed?
