While I am debating which Cee Bailey's windshield to get, has anyone tried the head light guard? Is it worth the expense or just a waist?

Anything that will protect the waist is not a waste. Somehow I just keep getting bigger around. Head Light guard? Maybe if there is lots of rocks where you ride - I have never had a broken light in 50 years. Someone stole one off my 650 BSA once, but the guard wouldn't have helped.

Considering that the Vision headlamp lens is Lexan I'm tending to think that the headlamp guard is a waste when purchased for the purpose of protection.

So the only reason to purchase it would be for "appearance". However I guess if you are heading to pick up a chick or two or more....well...you are protected.

Ok, so I misspelled "waste" with "waist". Sorry about that. Typed too fast for my brain. I didn't really think that the headlight case needed that much addition protection. Why engineer something that will break easily, and then put it on the "nose" of a bike? I also have never had a headlight get busted on the road like that either. But with enough force, weight and size of the object, I guess it could break. I was really just curious to see if anyone had one.
