My engine stalls when I come to a stop after riding for extended periods of time. Does anyone else have this problem? if so, did you find a fix? I have had the bike in the shop numerous times now and they do nothing to correct the problem

Mine is in the shop now due to stalling and dead battery problems. Last week we were coming out of Daytona, six lanes of rush hour traffic and I punched it to change lanes and as I did the bike sputtered and died. Talk about a scare, luckily the kid in the lane I was entering was paying attention and avoided us. Nothing like pushing a bike across two lanes of rush hour traffic doing 50 mph, its a wonder we weren't killed....Tuesday I was taking it over to the shop and the battery was dead. I jumped it and rode it to the shop and when they tried to move it inside the battery was dead again.....I highly recommend AAA Plus if buying a Vision......

The new flash should fix the problem.

May or may not be a fix for you. But I had the stalling problem and with each corrective action it got better, new plugs and the reflash. However, the thing that has fixed it for me is the flange nuts were loose on the exhaust at the engine. Since I tightened them suckers it has ran perfect!

Earle, I had a similar problem when we were in Deadwood, S.D. Tech at Rice Honda/Victory went right to the ground wire on the frame. Put some torque on it and it has been fine ever since. Have you had the latest recall completeted? Those that have had the loose connections had similiar problems.

Ness did the recall, re: tightening-torquing the ground wire, changed the manifold sensor, remapped. It's been very frustrating to say the least and can pose a potential hazard.
Thanks for the posting. I am waiting to hear from Ness, they were contacting Victory to see if they have any new info. Will post the outcome

waiting to hear the outcome from you earle. Shortly after I made the post above it went back to popping. Plenty of comments on at least a half a dozen other threads.
