The answer that I'm sure you found is that the Vic high-flow filter is, indeed, a K&N.

Just providing closure in case someone finds this thread doind a search on the topic.

The Vision filter, and the steel frame filters are NO LONGER made by K&N. To be honest K&N would not let such a low quality product out of their door

That said you do still use the K&N service kits on them

i agree with kevin, i havehad many many other k&n air filters and this one that comes with the s1l1 kit looks cheap as all hell.. even the screen mesh looks cheap. plus i as iposted in another thread, I contacted k&n months ago and they said they do NOT make a air filter for the vision . but they were thinking about doing it if enough people showed interest.

I third that. I got my first "Performance filter" as part of the exhaust S1L2 upgrade and bought a second to have as stand-by to swap (I live out in the sticks so I must freguently change the filter). The mesh on my upgrade filters is rusting out already. These things are low-grade junk. I've seen plenty of it. Polaris fails to satisfy; let alone impress me, yet.
