Has anyone got one on there bike and do you like it? Does it work with the bike plug in and does it talk through the speakers while your riding? I found one on ebay that's remanufactured with a one year warranty and free shipping for $112.00. Just wanted to know what you guys thaught!!

I believe all you have to do is buy the Victory pn#2875742 and it should plug right in and be integrated into the audio system. We used it to find a hotel in The napa valley after an unexpected flat and it was a great time saver.

i use that exact same unit on my vision and everything works perfectly... and yes it does talk through the audio system provided you have the cord that plugs it into the audio system

Mine works great. Yes, you will have to buy the mount. Then it plugs right in.

I have the same rebuilt unit. It works great but I use the dash pad that comes with it and it sits on the dash in front of the windshield. I plug it inside the glove box. You can't hear the voice but I don't use that feature anyhow. Makes it nice I can take it off the dash and hand it to the copilot to do searches while riding or she can give me turn by turn directions when in heavy traffic...

I had the 2720 on my Vision.... worked great. When I found out that they were discontinuing the 2830 I bout one on ebay for $220. I can listen to the directions thru my blue tooth helmet if necessary. I had the Zumo 550 on my Vision 1st ( I had it on another bike) but wanted to get the directions thru the speakers so I got the Garmin and now leave the Zumo on the other bike instead of switching back and forth.

The Garmin, even on ebay, is more money. Although I like the Zumo a little more, I think the Garmin for the Vision is just fine. Hope this helps.

You are right - You will love it. And do a search for mounting it (Someone put some pictures up here). I drilled a hole through the center panel between the mount U Shape and fed the attachment cable through the hole. So no ugly cable hanging over the side panel on the right.

Another feature is that the 'kit' allows you to bring the GPS into the house and hook it up to your laptop. I do this often before making a long trip and can plot in all of the way points and update the unit directly from Garmin.

Sure beats the $900 price tag.
