My handle came about many years ago. My 1999 Kawasaki Nomad was the 7th bike
Kawasaki put the 1500cc engine in. All the Vulcan's have the VN in front, and the cc's in the
middle. My model was the VN1500G1. "G" represents the 7th model, and 1 the first model
year. G1Nomad sounded like a good handle to me.
My 2005 VN2000 is labeled a VN2000A2. The 2nd year of the 1st model for the 2053cc engine.
Yep, it is a beastly engine.

Yes, Rebel, I agree quite dangerous, I have tried to educate my teenager about his MySpace page, but they are impervious, so not much luck. |

Kinda reminds me of back about 15 years when I started my current career. The corporation was in the habit of identifying employees by their SSNs and would post this info in common areas where everyone had access to it. I complained to the union about it and asked that they have the info removed. Being an average of 40 years older than I, they all looked at me like was nuts. What's the big deal, they asked.
So, for the next union meeting I decided to give them a little display of why it's dangerous. After the dispensed with the usual stuff at the meeting and got to the new business portion I again brought up my complaint about the SSNs and again got the same response. This time, however, I brought up credit cards that I was able to get in the names of the local shop president and bargaining chairman and told them how I got this with just the SSNs that the corp listed for everyone and about 10 minutes worth of work on the internet. That grabbed their attention and at the next contract negotiations it was decided that the corporation would no longer post SSNs. 
In closing, just remember that because you are paranoid doesn't mean that someone isn't really out to get you. |

Brighton, TN | That's a good example, I'm surprised however, that somebody didn't try to take legal action against you for getting cards in their name. Then your example gets flipped as to how your a criminal with malintents. Sounds like something I would do, but somehow would flip notsomuch in my favor.
I have tried to be way more selective about giving out my SSN or any other pertinent info. I hope nobody is out to get me or anyone else, but I know that is a false hope.
However, I did have a local dog trying to get my bunny wabbit this morning, was the bunny paranoid or was the not really out to get the bunny, I dunno! |
