Oh boy, this one again. We hit this one about a year ago, and man were there a bunch of "Old Geezers" on here. Fiesty to say the least, some of the old curmudgeons still hanging around. tooo.

Age is relative, next year I crack 50, this year I cracked over 100 (on my bike). Offen I am younger than my sister who is always 29. My body does however remind me otherwise. Living and loving it absolutely. More heavy insured .......you betcha

Looks like us older "more refined" curmudgeons are going to fly away with it again. I don't think that this is because the Vision appeals to only 45+ gray or balding American males looking to shed their suits or shovels for some fun, it appeals to all ages, sexes, and ethnic groups. Just yesterday I had to pick up some things for a trip north on mine, so I dropped by the local Walmart, a store I truly hate (not the local one - the whole Walmart concept), and when I returned to my Vision a young employee (OOPS I mean Associate) was waiting close by so he could "meet the person that owned such an awesome bike". After showing it to him in detail, before I could leave, I had to "model" the Vision so he could snap pictures of it from all angles with his cell phone. I've probably received way more compliments and questions from young people, females, and men between the ages of 20-40 than any 45+ gray or balding American males. Maybe that's because we know what we want and get it, or maybe we are more financially able or willing to do it, or maybe it's just because we're baby boomers so the laws of averages dictate there's way more numbers in that slice of the pie.
But it's no GEEZERMOBILE by any means.

One thing that I noticed is the majority of the riders are hardcore (meaning they did not buy a Vision to bar hop).

Most of you are right in saying, the Vision appeals to a wide range of people from both sexes and ages.

Even though I just turned 58, I do not feel like 58. The reason I am trading up is to take even longer trips than the typical 300-400 per weekend now. I am planning a trip to Maine this coming Spring going up US 1 or as close to the coast as possible.

Hard to think of myself as being in the 2nd oldest age choice in the poll. Just goes to show "with age comes wisdom".

Just goes to show that the older you get, the better your taste gets.

What is really hard is when you are in the oldest category. 71 and lovin it , and loving my bike. 7300 miles in three months, Saturdays and a few evenings, but, tomorrow we leave on a weeks vacation. on our SSG Tour Premium. We can't wait.

I'm 54 and have had many bikes since my introduction to motorcycles at the tender age of 10 by a cousin who had a Honda 65. We and his younger brother have been riding bikes for many years and the same one that taught me how to ride his Honda is the same one that introduced me to the Victory line. He showed up one day on a new Vegas and when the Hammer came out is when I traded my Yamaha for it and now it shares the garage with my new Vision. Age is just a number but also the age of greater wisdom. Sorry for the long rant but I am proud to ride Victory.

Ride safe.

Like Satchel Paige said, "how old would you be if you didn't know how old you was".

pollo...I thought most of the people who responded to the first poll would have died from old age by now or would have converted their Visions into trikes. I am still the youngest and best looking! (LOL)

I bought myself my VV for my 50th birthday. After years of riding several bike styles and size, (23 in all) I feel in love with the Victory Vision (VV) the first time I laid eye's on her and my love for her still grows!!! Happy riding, I am off to the mountains today!!!

When are one of you guys gonna convert it to a trike. I wanna see this, it should look good if you keep with the curving lines. I told you before, My Chihauhau is better looking than you.
