At Az Victory in Tucson, Az. Got a chance to take a closeup look at their police cruisers. Tucson, Marana, and Goodyear departments all have pending orders. Majority will be on the cross country. Hmmm.

Will try to upload some pics when I get home. Florida just ordered six units. All of the conversion is done in house vs historically being farmed out for paint, another place for electrical, then again some place else for lighting and is "plug and play" where the bike can be turned back into civilian within a matter of hours.

All of the fotos are too big. How lame is that. So much for that.

It seems I have had issues since day one posting fotos. All my phone camera pictures files are too big. Here are some youtube links for the Arizona Victory police issue bikes:

Sure do like them.
I'd like to have a bike with that paint scheme. Once the police depts. start liquidating them, I will definitely take a look.

They have several of the Cross Police bikes in Tyler TX already. I've seen one up close and no he didn't pull me over. He just happened to be getting gas at the same station I stopped and we talked about them for a little while. He said he liked his a lot because it didn't take him near as long to catch a speeding car!

The bikes all have significant engine and other performance modifications through Skunk motorsports located in Mesa, Arizona in addition to a bullet proof skid plate, which looks impressive up close. Tim said he couldn't elaborate on the specific mods because of logistics or maybe over a beer sometime, but as he put it they are freaking quick. I was there when they were just finishing one up for Goodyear with the bike hooked up to a laptop for fine tuning and they do sound stout when on the throttle. Good bunch of guys over there at the shop in addition to being the cheapest authorized Victory dealer in Az for major service and repairs based on my own research. They told me that Sonny Barger is now on his third Victory and purchased all three through them. They also have a "blacked out" police issue, which is very low key and could be mistaken from a distance for a regular tourer at the shop that's absolutely sick. Too bad the pic I took of the blacked out police issue was too big to post here or I would have done it. Even though I live in Glendale and have more then a few authorized Vic places I could be dealing with locally I rather make the 250 mile round trip and deal with these guys. If any of you are ever in Tucson check them out. They are located on the frontage road and speedway boulevard in Tucson. They got some cool stuff over there that you will most likely not see anywhere else.

The police issue is setup with a fully adjustable windshield, which looks stylish, but I'm not up to date on the cross country stuff. Now if they incorporated regular LEDs on the front fairing as opposed police I'm sure cross country folks would jump on that. I would.

I like the Police Vision front fender. Does anyone make these for the general public yet?

A good fabricator or body shop can cut yours down easily. I had mine cut down 4 years ago, enjoy the new look a lot

Interesting because I have seen pictures of Sonny at Arlen Ness store in Dublin, Ca [where I get my bike serviced] with the Vision and CCT he bought from Arlen. Sonny and Arlen go waaaayyy back.

I know he lives in Cave Creek, Arizona, his home since 1998 in addition to being a member of the Cave Creek chapter. I'm not sure about the CCT, but the Vision I think he purchased from Arlen for 1 dollar in 2008. Quite honestly, who cares where he purchased them. I would head up to Dublin also if I had a Vision waiting for me for a buck. Who's with me.....
