That's the kind of trip I made when I first got my Vision. Never been on a trip more than 500 miles until I got the Vision. Mine was 11 days, 15 states and 5260 miles. It was sort of a tribute trip with my brother for my dad's passing. Took his ashes to Klamath Falls, Oregon per his wishes. Louisiana all the way to Oregon and then whatever we could find to stop at. Best trip I ever been on. My brother and I now make a yearly trip to random destinations but our trips have to last at least 7 to 10 days. Have fun!

Great write up and photos.

Your accounting of going into a restaurant at closing time sounded like you were describing my experience. Definitely different attitudes between the cook and the hostess/waitress.

great write up jimtom. you did a fantastic job with great photos. I long for the opportunity to make a ride like that. your wife looked like she enjoyed it as much as you did. I especially appreciate your testimony for Christ. again...great job, and God bless.

Wow Jim Tom, that is just perfect! Thanks for sharing.

A Yellowstone trip is on the radar for next year and we hope to see a lot of the places you went to.

Gotta go back for Yellowstone. I had to bypass it in 2012. Good to leave something undone so we have an excuse to go back.

Agreed Jim Tom! In our travels we like to mix in favorite rides and locations with new experiences.

One of the coolest things about travelling on a motorcycle is the great people you meet along the way.
It seems every day we meet someone who is kind, funny or interesting.

I agree, you put yourself out there on a bike and people are drawn to that. We meet so many people when bike traveling. Riding causes me to be more open to others and make connections. Cage travel is just that , a cage.

Central Wisconsin

Jim nice work on all the details. We can relate to your out West trip.

To bad we didn't run in to you at the AVR in Spirit Lake this year.
