Posts: 259 Land O Lakes, FL | Ok what are all you iPhone 5 users with the lightning connector doing to plug it into the iPod adapter on the Vision? I tried using the adapter that Apple has but it doesn't stay put and it takes up a lot of room. I was thinking they do sell an extension cable that one end accepts the 30 pin and ends in the new lightning adapter. Not sure if I'll end up with the same issue of the connector falling out because it doesn't lock in like the old 30 pin adapters do...
Anyone come up with a good solution? |

Posts: 323 Troy, NY | I said screw it for trying to connect my phone via some cable. I took the blue tooth route and find this to be the best. A link below is to the one I got on Amazon. I have tried 3-4 different blue tooth dongles. This one is turn key and turns on automatically when I turn on the bike. So all I need to do is hit play on my iPhone. I charge the phone when need by plugging in to the USB plug built into the device.

The only down fall to the bluetooth route is you can use the controls on the bike to skip songs or choose a playlist. However, I tend not to mess with my controls anyway. I put on a playlist and ride. |

Posts: 238 SF Bay Area | When I upgraded to the phone 5s, I kept my iphone 4 and use it only for music, only on my bike. It basically became a 32 gig ipod, belonging to my bike.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | I'm contemplating getting the Auris freeDA iPhone bluetooth adapter. Plugs into the Victory's iPhone 33pin cable and supports apt-X format for CD-quality bluetooth from my iPhone which would be either in my pocket on charging in my tour pack.

Do you think you will still be able to control the ipod from the controls on the bike? |

Posts: 259 Land O Lakes, FL | I really like having the controls to work with. I have a lot of playlists and music so switching on the bike is great. I did the same thing as you buddahead kept my iPhone 4S and it's now an iPod I share with the F6B. It's a good solution and works very well. I was just thinking I could leave the old iPhone in the F6B and use my 5S in the Vision. The connector for the Honda is in the saddlebag I like having the connection up front my me like the Vision |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | On a related note, I just did minor surgery to the vision's glovebox so that the big clunky noise suppressor is underneath the center console and not in the glovebox. I used my dremel to widen the hole where the iPod wire enters the glovebox so the the 30pin connector fit through the hole. Saved a bunch of room in the little glovebox. |
