Troy, NY | The Vision is my first motorcycle. I got my motorcycle permit April 2009. I rode the MP3 500 Piaggio scooter for 3 months then bought the Vision in August 2009. So when people asks how it handles, off course I say great. In reviews it has been said it handles like a sports bike. So I've always said that but told people I couldn't be 100% sure since I don't have any actual comparisons to go bye.
Well, I can now no doubt say it handles like a sport bike!!! I spent the past 5 days riding with a group of 10 fellow bikers (no Victories) in Eastern Canada along the coast. We were ride a beautiful rode up to Saguane. Our leader broke from the group to followed a sports bike that past us. Our leader took the advantage to follow this guy through the stretch knowing he was a local that new the roads and most likely were cops might hide out. I was 4th in line. I followed them all the way without any problems. I hit 105 mph doing turns at 80-85 mph without any problems. This was a beautiful curvy road too. I finished 3rd in line....it wasn't a race per se. Some people dropped out of the fast paced riding. I had the time of my life on the trip!
I can say with 100% confidence. The Vision handles like a sports bike!!

LaGrange, GA | Cool. It doesn't really, but it certainly handles a lot better than it has any right to at its size. It can handle better than a large portion of the motorcycling community can ride, and that's good enough. |

Katy, TX United States | I just bought a 2013 VV Tour and have put over 2k miles on it. My prvious bike was a 2003 Honda 1300ST, a sport touring bike. The VV does not quite "ride like a sports bike." It cannot take off as fast as the ST; however, it does handle the twisties better than I thought it would. I was concerned I would miss that part of the ST, but I actually feel safer and more stable on the VV through the curves. |

Manchester, CT | Replace the springs and cartridges with springs and cartridges from an 8 ball vision...Marc Parnes came up with this combination and we are both using this setup. Huge difference in handling, agility and makes the vision feel smaller. Feedback is awesome and you can really toss it around. Marc, would you like to add to this? |

| I don't know about that. it handles great for a huge touring bike, but it drags really early and the gearing is all wrong for sporty riding. |

Dayton, OH | I too am impressed with the handling and nimbleness of the big Vic but it does not handle like a sport bike. I made the mistake of going on a ride with some of my sport bike buddies with the Vision instead of the ZX12. Ordinarily I ride up front with the fast guys but since I was on the Vic I resigned to riding in the rear. On the first half of the ride I tried to keep up and I thought I was going to kill my Vision. They were walking off and leaving me right from the start. The Vic was competent on the back roads and through the turns but no one ever saw it because they we so far out front. I did get the last laugh on the way back because we took the superslab home to make time. I was kicked back, stretched out, enjoying the tunes and cruise control while they were hunched over the tank trying to stay out of the wind. When I go out with my Harley friends it is no contest; the big Vic smokes everything through the turns. It helps that I ride a sport bike too so bending the Vic over is second nature. Most people who ride cruisers and dressers aren?t real keen on leaning their bikes over. Hell, a lot of sport bikers are scared to also; they just like the straight line speed. Me, if the road ain?t got no turns in it I?d rather not ride it. |

Central Illinois | While my Vision was in for service today I rode both a Cross Roads and a Boardwalk from the Victory demo truck. The Vision is the best handling of the bunch bar none.
A Vision was never intended to compete with a sports bike but it does handle well. I had no trouble keeping up with the group on those demo rides regardless of what I was on at the time. |

Yeah, I'm sure some go fast goodies will help but I got the Vision to cruise and tour. Because it is so competent through the turns it tricked me into thinking I could keep up. The problem was the insane acceleration of the sportbikes compared to the Vision; when you can go from 0-60/70 in 10sec in 1st gear the Vic can't compete. I've learned my lesson; when the fellas are riding sportbikes I'll ride QuickSilver (the ZX12) and when we're traveling I'll be on The Beast!! BTW, there are go fast goodies in the future for The Beast!! |

I agree with adirondacks. Let me explain......
First let me state that I am working on a new name for Lloyd of LLoysz Motor Workz. I was thinking "god" (that is little g god). This is why........ I Love my Vision and it definitely corners better than my old Electraglide (2007) or my old Wing (2008). We all know this is true! Now earlier this year I took my 2008 Vision to LLoyds and asked him to do what he does. He did and this is why I am thinking "god" BECAUSE THIS BIKE CAME TO LIFE AFTER LLOYD HAD IT FOR SIX HOURS. I envision Lloyd in the back of his shop doing an impression of Dr. Frankenstein screaming "it's alive, alive I tell you... its alive!" Lloyd breathed life into my bike (keeping the religious analogy going). This bike was quick and nimble, now it is AMAZING! back in the late 80's after one of the kids were born and I was scraping the pegs on whatever bike I was riding at the time I bought my first two wheel boat knowing full well it would help me stay alive since my testosterone was working against me. For the first time since then I am hearing scraping sounds again. The amount of Horsey and or torque added to this bike has changed the way I ride and given me back the thrill of he ride like I had back in the day before riding the boats. Yes, its not a sport bike but I would bet with the right rider it would do a fine job keeping up.
Let me end with this statement, you own a vision? you know it has better comfort and handling than any other grand touring bike on the road, PERIOD. Take your bike to Lloyd, give him a few hours and you will be amazed. After over 25 years riding and countless bikes riding I know I am! Little g god? Got another name idea?
