Georgia | Guys, I am about to pull the trigger on a 2011 Vision Tour, and am hearing there is no rider/passenger communication available for the machine. I had a goldwing, and know that honda and harley both have it as standard equipment. What gives? Wallacem |

| you can get that as part of the optional CB Victory offers. not cheap by any means though. I am opting for a Sena or Scala Bluetooth unit myself. |

Jasper, MO | It comes as part of the CB option for the Vision, and costs about the same as the CB option for the Goldwing. The Victory combines the CB and Intercom into one unit, while the Goldwing uses two units and makes the intercom standard. I have the factory Victory system and it works well. If you want bike-to-bike communication, the antique technology of the CB radio has far more range than the Sena/Chatterbox/Scala setups. If you only need rider/passenger communication, they may serve you well.
J&M also has CB and/or intercom systems, but they do not integrate with the rest of the bike's audio like the Victory factory systems do.

Central Illinois | A nice clean communication system is the Sena bluetooth model SMH-10. I just used it on a 750 miles trip and it was quite clear at reasonable speeds. Much like my wired HD system, wind noise interference became a factor over about 70 MPH. It has the enormous advantage over a wired system that you don't risk damaging it every time time you stop for gas or otherwise tug at the wires. |

Lexington Park, MD | Have the Vic CB/ICOM package and it is great! Great CB, ICOM software works great with the media package already installed. Hand controls are easy to use and J&M makes the lower cables to to convert Honda helmets to the 7pin Vic CB which is same connector as the CANAM spyder. BUT, it is expensive. Still a little miffed about it. 2nd CB alternative is a J&M which will give you the pinion COMM as well. Much cheaper, you got your comms and CB. Either way go with a FIRESTIK antenna. But, if it is just you and your rider, then Bluetooth. Keep in mind the blue tooth doogle DOES NOT interface the CB into the bike. Hope this helps... Tim |

Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | I've considered getting something for years but somehow we've done just fine without. From all the research I've done if I was going to order something today it would be the UClear HBC200. Lots of military technology integrated into their design & I know I'd like not having a boom mic. Check 'em out if your shopping, lots of good reviews.

Still, the range is paltry compared to the old fashioned CB radio I, and my friends, have on our bikes. Good range is important with the guys I ride with.
