| I'm replacing the stock Vision Tour seat with Corbin which I received yesterday. It's easy to install the new seat, but how do I remove both of the pads attached to the trunk? I searched the forum but couldn't find any posts. Thanks! Vince. |

Bella Vista, AR | Both pads are bolted from the inside of the trunk, three for the bottom, and four for the top. I'll be interested to hear how the Corbin compares to stock. |

Lift the lid of your trunk. There are four allen head cap screws in the lid these are the ones for the top pad.
The three below on the trunk body are the ones for the lower pad. Don't remember the size 5 or 6 mm I think. Hope this helps

Pittsburgh, PA | I like that paint and the seat looks real good on that bike.who did the paint job? I would like to hear what you think about the comfort level after you get some miles on it. Also is the driver backrest removable and/or tilt forward to give your passenger any wiggle room? please keep us informed. |

| So far, I'm satisfied with it! However, if one is vertically challenged with the original, then the corbin isn't for you. I'm 6'4" and immediately noticed a difference. Before, with the stock seat, I was able to keep both feet flat on the ground at stop. Now, I'm unable to be flat-footed at stop, but on my toes. A bit disconcerting at first, but manageable. Road 50 miles this morning and the seat feels fine. Won't know for sure until I've taken an extended trip. The backrest pivots completely forward, so the passenger can get on. The recline angle of the pad is adjustable, using different lengths set-screws. The recline angle is essentially permanent, in that you need a hex wrench to remove the set-screw and replace it with another length. That changes the recline angle. That allows an angle to suit the comfort of the driver, but of course, the more recline to the rear, the less room for passenger. And of course, the back rest can be completely removed if needed. I don't usually carry a passenger, so no worries for me. The backrest is comfortable! Vince.

Springfield Mo. | 6'4". You're a giant. You should be able to ride this thing with a booster seat on there. I'd need 9" heels to get there. I don't have too much problem flat footing my viz and I'm only 5'7". Maybe it helps that my width helps push the bike lower to the ground so that I can touch. |
