Is there a special EFI map required for these? If so, can you download it, or is an external unit needed (ie. Power commander or Lloydz)?

I have them also, went with the stock map at first but developed some popping when upshifting. Had the tech do the download and all seems better now with just an occacional pop. I did loose a couple of miles per gallon but no big deal. Runs and sounds great, and i can hear the music well at speeds to 100. Usually cruise 75 -80 so its not a problem.

I did a quick google and only found a few places that sell the Honkers. Would you mind telling me where you purchased yours from?

Thanks,

John

I am not sure what download was used. I will ask when i go back to the dealer. I got my Honkers from the dealer and have nothing but good to say about them. I am sure there will be folks that have something bad to say about them but thats just how some people are. Got my Vision from Az. Victory in Tucson. It feels like i remember the Indy shops felt years ago...people that ride and no high pressure like i got from the other American bike company. If i dont make it down to Tucson today, i will call and ask the Tech what download he used. Another strange thing is my gas mileage has gone back up. 3500 miles and am now averageing 47 mpg. Dont know what is different, but closed loop systems take some time to dial in but.....man this is one great machine.

I was told by a Victory tech that the Ness bigshot controller does not require disconnecting O2 sensors. I am strongly leaning in that direction.
