Just bought this 08 vision and was going to replace the front tire. Got stopped because I don't have a allen wrench that large. It looks like a 11/16. Am I right or wrong? Is it metric?

Usually when I run into a large sized allen bolts, I can sometimes invert one of my spark plug sockets and it will fit (and use an extension inside of it to turn it). Just tried it on the Visions front axle; no dice, all of my spark plug sockets are too big.... looks like I will need a large allen wrench as well (once it's found out what size it is....

16mm, but you'll find a 5/8 easier and cheaper and works just fine.

:) Thanks people for the info about my vision front axle and allen/hex wrench prob. Couldn't find a 16mm anywhere here in Vegas, however I found a 5/8 "hex key" at Mc Fadden Hardware that solved the problem.

You'll find a hand full of SAE tools that are the same as metric. The fedral goverment pass a law that all will be metric by 2016 I believe

Federal gov has been passing metric conversion laws since the early 1900's, and yet we still teach SAE in schools.

And we buy cars and motorcycles that have a high quantity of foreign made parts, assemblied outside the country and call them American. I'm okay with it, others, not so much.
