Who all has been to "Run for the Wall" I went in 2005 from where I lived then in California. We took 6 bikes and had a ball.

Very moving ceremony and the Marine Guard that saluted all the riders was awesome.

4 of the 6 were Vets 2 Vietnam, one Korea, one general service in Germany and 2 guys who just wanted to go.

We traveled from CA to DC in 5 days then stayed there for three days and went on the ride. We then took 5 days back across the US home. We had an interesting collections of bikes as we were all CMA. Three Goldwing's, 2 Harleys and a BMW. It was funny that everyone had some kind of minor problems except the 1977 Goldwing who made the whole trip without a blip.

Lost headlights on my bike a 2002 Wing the 95 Wing broke a speedo cable coming down the mountain in Utah while on Cruse Control exciting few minutes. The one Harley was new but had a couple of electrical bugs nothing major and the Road King was a 97 but dropped a shifter in the Serra Nevada's amazing what you can fix with enough zip ties.

All in all a great trip but I want to do it again just hard to find the time and riding friends to go with. Archie
