A great look! Nice job!

I did the same thing, only lost the Victory badges on the side, and got the smoke turn signal lenses for the front turn signals. I also blacked out the tip over supports, passenger hand holds, floor boards and dash. I will try to figure out how to attach a couple of photos of mine.

I wouldn't be surprised if they start offering solid colors from the factory. Oh wait, maybe not. Seems that's what alot of people want.

Wizard,
Where or how did you get smoke turn signals. Mine are still stock, they just look dark in the photo. I have to talk to the dealer about a new left signal anyway, mine has moisture getting into it.

cw1115, how do you find the reflection of the dash off the windshield now that it is painted black? I can't help but be distracted from the stock gray dash and the reflection that shows from it at the top of the windshield. I thought about a flat or matte black overlay to put on the dash to eliminate or reduce it. Since yours is gloss black, how much does it reflect on the windshield?

I was afraid there might be a glare problem, especially when the sun does shine it can be brutal. Much to my surprise, I don't even notice it's painted unless I look down at it. 2800 miles so far, about 1000 since the paint was done.

There are a couple differant looks if you check the gallery. The cherry with black looks real good. Somebody did the accents blue on a black bike. Also very sharp.

The bikes look great all black. I too have blackened my dash panel because of the glare. I did that right after I got it in October. My next step is to have the tip-over and the passenger handles powder coated black.

I am getting ready for a 5k-6k trip that will start with the AVR and will complete the blackening of the Vision after that.

I am also thinking of some subtle pinstriping for the ridge lines. Any ideas????

I got the smoke turn signals from my dealer. I didn't even know they made them, but when I told the service manager I wanted everything blacked out, he asked me if I wanted a set of the smoke turn signals to go along with the paint. Of course I said yes! The sales guy, and even the owner didn't know about them. I guess I just got lucky.

I don't know how much they cost because it was included in the cost of the bike, but I am getting y first service this weekend and will find out and let you know on Monday.

Still trying to post pics of my bike, but for some reason, they won't upload. Its probably another Mac thing! Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I was able to upload to the gallery, but not to the posts, probably because the files were too big. I'll give it a try with smaller files. I appreciate the help.

Looks great, but than again if it didn't have the decal on the tank I would think it was mine. I had the decal off before I put it to bed the first day.

Forgot to mention. I see alot of the photos posted show large key rings with all kinds of stuff stuck in the ignition of their Vision. I don't why, but before I knew it the mini leather helmet front on my bike key ring wore a dull line in my new paint I am unable to buff out. I can feel the depression with my finger. Maybe the paint takes more that 2 weeks to completely harden. Either way, it bugs me enough to have it repainted. Needless to say, my ignition key rides solo now.

I was iritated that I had to leave my key in the ignition so I went keyless with this.

I have since removed all the decals.

As soon as I get more info on the smoked lenses, I will post it here.

As far as keys are concerned, mine is solo now as well which doesn't really bother me, although I have to admit that the keyless approach sounds really interesting. I think I may check that out.
