Fellow riders,

I am looking for advise on motorcycle detailing polishers and products. There was a string on detailing back in 2011. I am looking to validate if recommendations in those threads still hold true. Polishers were not part of the discussion.

buy what you like and use micro fiber towels no t shirts or bath towels.
Wax in straight lines with dark color paint.
Never use fabric softener with waxing towels it has a petroleum base to it.
I use a detailer on all the paint and windshield.
Simple green (American made in Wi.) can buy at all walmarts and it cheaper then S100 and does the same job.
La's Awesome Cleaner get from the dollar store works great on the exhaust tips.
Bugs on windshield whip off with hot water towel as soon as you pull in the garage that will be the ease way to Cleon them off

Still using hydrogen peroxide to debug the bike. I also use a wet towel on the windshield. Been using Turtle wax ICE detailed and wax. Good stuff and easy to use.

I've had great results with Victory's Pure Polaris detailer products. Use them on all my vehicles as well as my kitchen's granite counter top!

Victory Pure Polaris has worked well for me, too.

I sent you an email listing the 10 main cleaning products I use for the bike. (w/WD-40)

I have tried most of these products over the years (50+I have had bikes and none seem to work any better than Victory's Pure Gear products..The Spray & Wipe Instant Detailer works great for windshields, paint and chrome....Good Stuff!!! Turtle Wax Ice is good for a glossy finish.....

You guys are great! I love this forum! Thanks to everyone that responded.

Does anyone offer a discout on the Victory Products? I talked to my dealer but the only way they can get the products is if they order them on bulk. They haven't had a demand for the products. I'm thinking they should offer a free detailing seminar. This way they could draw potential buyers to the dealership and at the same time sell detailing products.

Does anyone use an orbital detailing polisher? If yes, which ones and how do you like it?

I have used a variety of different products in the 5 years I have owned a Vision. Liquid Glass is by far the best. Pricey at 25 bucks, but worth it. It is a polish, not a wax. It removes and swirls you may have. Available at Advance auto parts.

Never tried any electric polishers...Always seem to get the results I want with a little "elbow grease" and a good micro-fiber towel or 100% cotton rags....

This will not work on our aluminum pannels. Its only good for raw aluminum

Where are you buying your Victory products from? I've only found one provider online (www.purevictorypolishes.com/). Does anyone offer a discount? Ideally I would like to purchase the Detail Tote package.

Since Pure Victory Polishes now carry a Victory part#, any Victory dealer should be able to order it for you. They may have to buy a case (12 bottles?) but they should because people will buy them! You can order single bottles from www.purevictorypolishes.com but then you have to pay shipping. I generally buy a gallon of the detailer spray because I use it on everything (see my post above).

Their bike wash concentrate is also fantastic. It contains a little wax and really shines the bike up after a wash.
