I have had my bike stripped down all Winter and am putting things back together after some paint mods and a few other things. I can't seem to be able to find any pics or directions on how to reattach these cables. Kinda driving me a little batty. If anybody has any tips or info on getting them back installed again where they connect to the ignition switch tower, I would sure be grateful.

If you have any ideas, let me know.

Thanks

Steve

The tab that hold the cable for my fuel door broke. I repaired it rather than spend $119 for a new top panel. Maybe the pics I posted will help.

Be easy with this, it breaks easily. I have already had the 2013 apart and this piece has been re-engineered with metal clip.

The glove box latch is a simple push to latch push to unlatch setup (at least it is on my '08) so the fuel door should be the only lug on your switch.

Both cables connect at the switch and that is where I disconnected them from. Should have disconnected at the other end where it looks easier to understand. I took it apart at the switch and forgot how it goes!

Steve, not sure of your timetable to get your bike together. My Lloydz intake will be here Friday. I will take pics and or sketch it out for you Friday when I take it apart.

no cable for glove box push down pops open hold down stays in place.
Gas door cable hook to ignition switch to wards the bottom. Big loop over to gas door. Tight loop door will bind up and break tab

There is a cable to the glovebox. When you lock the forks the cable locks your glovebox.

Not on my 11' 8 Ball there's not.
