A few weeks ago I was washing the bike and also having a few past ride flashbacks.

For some reason I was thinking about the ride to Tijauna in 2007. That ride also included a stop at Border Field State Park. The southwesternly most point in the lower 48.

This summer I made it the southern and northern points and it did accrue to me that I still needed to go to the northeastern point. Madawaska, Maine.

The trip will also include a stop at Acadia National Park, Quebec and ????

This ride will be done at a much slower pace, my wife is also riding along. I have to share space! This should be fun.

That will be a blast!
One one motorcycle trip back in the '80s I was in that area of the country and just extended my trip up into Canada and drove around the Gaspe Peninsula. As I recall it was a beautiful ride. And you are actually in a different time zone (Atlantic), so crossed 5 time zones in that trip.

One other great ride in that area is up over Lake Superior (Hwy 17) to Toronto. In 35 years of riding that still stands out as one of the prettiest rides I have ever enjoyed.

If you're that close might as well spend a couple days riding around Nova Scotia and maybe even Newfoundland!

Thanks for the suggestions! I don't know much about the northeast.

I wish I could but I'm broke, out of vacation and still catching up my yard projects.

I think this will be a 2013 early summer trip.

 Thank you!

It's been years since I last saw the Falls. I did enjoy both watching and listening to the Falls.

I added it to my list.

Take the boat ride. I thought it might be hokey, but I really enjoyed going to the base of the falls. You can sure feel the power of water. We stayed on the Canadian side. Much nicer than the American side, which was mostly t-shirt and trinket sales.
