The change would be my bike over $ 9000.

Hello Adolfoch,
I have spoke with an 09 VVision owner that also went to an 10 then the 12. They were Ness' models. He still thinks they are the bomb, but also noted several areas where Vic has cheapened up the VV. Chrome wheels and others not as good, seat issues yet it does have the ABS which I think would be a good addition. This guy put many thousands on them and still loves em. Just saying.

The new also comes with reverse. Otherwise do not know if the change is good

I'm a bigger guy so the reverse would not as big a deal for me. The VV is still the worry free bike for me and my wife. She loves to ride with me. We typically ride for about 5 + hours a weekend if the weather let's us. Weekend trips may take that up to 10+. Love it!

I don't think you'd go wrong up grading to a 2012. Does the dealer have a good stock of Visions, or do you have to special order?

Sounds like adolfoch will have a white, with reverse Vision sitting in his driveway soon.

The 08 Vision would have the 106ci with the older 6 speed ?????
If so does the older tranny clunk like the new tranny???
The older tranny was noisy (gear whine) ? Is this why they did the make over ?

What I dont understand is they say they changed 4th and 6th gears from straight cut but not 5th.
If the straight cut gears were so noisy and they didnt change 5th on the new tranny - why is 5th on my XCT very quiet. All the other gears are noisy!!

Anyone shine some light on this?

Rob
