Is there any requirement or expectation as to how long a manufacturer of a discontinued motorcycle will carry spare parts for the discontinued model?

Thanks

No the motorcycle falls under recreations so they can drop parts when they run out of them. Cars on the other hand are a form of transportation like getting to a job if there was any. Or church and the store or what ever.

Orlean don't say you bought a used '99 and now you can't find parts. Always research any vehicle BEFORE you put the money down.

There were rumors that Honda wasn't going to make any Goldwings after 2010. There were rumors that the 2012 Goldwing was going to be 2000cc, have a 160 HP motor, and a six speed transmission, and get 55 MPG.

I wouldn't worry about the rumors about the Vision. Victory will stop making the Vision on the same day Honda stops making the Goldwing.

Also have an 01 C model and have not had an issue to date. Nothing ever seems to break. ;-)

By getting your dealers parts Dept involved in an on line search or more likely, a big independant repair shop, you'd be astounded whats still out there sitting on a dealers shelves in East Cow Flop with 6 inches of dust on it. There were a few on linesites that would do the digging for you that's how I found some long unavailable rear suspension parts for one of my old bikes.Look at the shelves of bike stuff Mike and Frank on American Pickers stumble onto every week.

Check out the bottom of the Victory-Riders.com front page. It shows what's on ebay for Victorys.
