| Is there any requirement or expectation as to how long a manufacturer of a discontinued motorcycle will carry spare parts for the discontinued model?

| No the motorcycle falls under recreations so they can drop parts when they run out of them. Cars on the other hand are a form of transportation like getting to a job if there was any. Or church and the store or what ever. |

| Orlean don't say you bought a used '99 and now you can't find parts. Always research any vehicle BEFORE you put the money down. |

| Naw just nervous about the rumors of the vision stopping and buying one and being in a situation 5 to 6 years down the road

Jasper, MO | There were rumors that Honda wasn't going to make any Goldwings after 2010. There were rumors that the 2012 Goldwing was going to be 2000cc, have a 160 HP motor, and a six speed transmission, and get 55 MPG.
I wouldn't worry about the rumors about the Vision. Victory will stop making the Vision on the same day Honda stops making the Goldwing.

Vernon, WASH. | By getting your dealers parts Dept involved in an on line search or more likely, a big independant repair shop, you'd be astounded whats still out there sitting on a dealers shelves in East Cow Flop with 6 inches of dust on it. There were a few on linesites that would do the digging for you that's how I found some long unavailable rear suspension parts for one of my old bikes.Look at the shelves of bike stuff Mike and Frank on American Pickers stumble onto every week. |
