I am now the proud owner of a 2009 Vision Tour Premium.
I have a couple of iquestions. I like to dro as much of my own maintenance as possible. Is there a service manual for the Vision? And two has anyone used any of the "performance" spark plugs such the E3s?
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the club. If you do a search you might find what your looking for. I seem to remember this sight has the manuals available. I've never used the plugs you mention but I read others comments and most weren't impressed. The people to talk to about performance would be Lloyd of Lloydz Performance or Kevinx. They are the gurus.

They do have service manuals available. If you plan on doing your own maintenance I believe your owners manual has the service times and what to check on them. Might save you a few dollars there. I've never seen any spark plugs gain noticeable difference unless the old ones were shot. If you're looking for performance gains on the cheap do a search for the thrush mod, best bang for the buck you'll find for your vision.

My suggestion would be to Ride! Put on a couple thousand miles before you consider any 'performance' mods. Though there is no limit to the suggestions you'll get on the "best" mod to make a rocket ship, many of us in the community think the Vision is a damn good running machine right out of the box. Maybe you'll need more, but maybe not. Give yourself some time before giving in to that urge to "do something".

Congrats on your new bike. As for plugs, it's been often mentioned, even with the best of power mods, the stock plugs do the job. Enjoy that ride.
