, MO | I seen another vision with carbon fiber wrap and had to do it.. Thinking about wrapping the side silver/grey panels and grab handles also but not sure.. may be too much..

DeRidder, LA | The side panels are tough, and take a lot more wrap than you think they should. That being said, with patience it can be done by an rookie like myself and looks amazing. I love mine. |

I bought my CF from http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/ your going to need the 48x48 for the top and one more for the side. Very fast shippers.
Its not bad to do but one trick I found out is have one or two heat lamps. The heat lamps will make the CF easer to form around corners and odd shapes easer. No heat lamps then get a buddy to help even if you have heat lamps ( rent them) heat gun works too. A new credit card worked best for me one with real clean edges not all chewed up.
I did the dash and the clutch cover and both wedges. As you fold the edges over make a slit in the CF about every two inches. Wash all parts with rubbing alcohol
This was the second season on them and they looked great. I didn't know why but I cleared them and like them as much.
I'm not a big fan of how the lighted badges stick out so I left the back off the and glued just the badges back on looks way better.

W'ford Tx | Quick search on eBay and found they make chrome vinyl wrap.....

48x48 is what you need for the top V or big side covers. For me a new credit card with smooth edges worked great. Wash parts with rubbing alcohol.
A Buddy will be a big help. Heat lamps will really help I found heat makes the CF very easy to work with and you can rent them. Don't get them to close cause you can melt a hole in the CF. If you don't go that way you need a heat gun to shape the CF around edges and curves. I learned the hard way heat really helps and another hand or two helps.
When you roll it over the edges cut the CF every two inches. Its not hard to do it just scary. Do little peaces first to kinda get the hang of it. Once you press it down its all most permanent if want to take it off and reshape it.
