So I took the M109 down to the dealer for her 3500 mile oil change and was joking around with the sales managers about taking home the new Limited Edition ZX-14R they had sitting in the showroom. I know those bikes are highly sought after so I knew there was no way they were going to deal, especially on an LE when there are only 5 in the state currently. So I'm wandering around waiting on the oil change and he comes up to me and says another dealer wants the LE for a customer and they really didn't want to sell it to them but was going to have to. When that happens of course the dealer makes $0 on the bike. He said I'll give it to you for $200 over invoice. Seeing as the bike retails for $14,900 I ended up getting it for just a tick over $12k. I actually paid less for it then the 9!

At that point I gave it some serious consideration (about 5 minutes) and decided, oh yea gotta have it! Traded my 9 in and now the proud owner of the current fastest production bike on the planet. This thing is a freakin beast! It's actually very smooth and pretty comfy ergos (compared to some of the uber race bikes). I flogged it a bit yesterday and dear lord what have I gotten into, redonkulus speed!

So here are a few shots of the new beastie,

it's redonkulusly fast. Lets just say it reaches it's limited top speed of 186mph before you realize your doing 186mph... Not that I would know anything about that personally of course...

When you are already 5 minutes late for work and you live 10 miles away, take the ZX-14R.

Have fun!

Be careful with that thing! I owned a Busa and the power trip from these bikes can be addictive. Next thing you know you are doing things you shouldn't. Just a heads up and ride safe.

You need to run it at the Texas Mile. It is an easy entry in the 200 mph club.

Easily. I saw a video of a new ZX racing a ZX10 and while the 10 pulled the 14 in a quick sprint it topped out at 189 and the 14 literally went flying by it!

If you want to go 200, you'll have to tweak the ECM, there is already works for that: contact Brocks Performance. Otherwise you'll be stuck at 186 mph like all the monster superbikes..........But with 192 RWHP stock you may be able to go 186mph in 5th gear !!!!!!!!!

Not being drag raced at these speeds? Change the rear gear for your 200 Bonny pass..
