San Francisco Bay Area | OK Guys, time for the Comm experts. I want to put CB on my Vision. I have the standard system with FM, Weather, Aux etc. Here is the question. The accessory catalog says that for a 2012 Vision the 40Channel CB without inter comm is about $150 plus cables. There is also a CB kit for $650 with out cable.
Any ideas????? |

San Antonio, TX | Make really sure that you are getting the CB for a 2012 and the correct cable. Make the dealer responsible for getting the correct parts. And when they come in Flash the Radio and CB to the same version of code.
You have to get the cables or it will not work. Sorry.

Northeast Ohio | Vic really screwed this up for 2011-2012. Unlike the earlier models, you will also NEED to buy the driver's headset as that is the only way to get the 7-way plugs for the wired headsets (driver and passenger). A complete parts list is in the catalog at the dealership. RT has it right, let the dealership get the parts and insist that the radio and CB are reflashed with Digital Wrench (Victory's computer system) to the latest version or you might have weird problems. Just make sure you order the headset kit (usually takes these guys 3 days to get the parts).
I already had J&M headsets in my helmets. Now I have a Victory headset in my motorcycle storage box. |

Lucky for you, I purchased a used one from a 2010 Cross Country owner but later found out that I couldn't use it on an 08 VV due to a different radio prior to the 2010 model. If you look up the part numbers and they are identical to what you need for yours, PM me and make me an offer. I will sell them to you at a great price. These parts I just priced at over $1200 new."

I am going to put these on ebay with NO RESERVE and you may bid on them if any of these match the part numbers you need. I am fairly certain that the cb kit and cb harness are matching numbers with what you need. If I were you, I would check the part numbers the dealer says you need to confirm that.
