Might be in the area, looking to see if there is anyone out there that might be able to show me or tell me the best spots only the locals would know where to ride or have a good time.

Shoot me an Email & I can share what I know of the area- I lived up in Aspen for a few months last year and I'm pretty much anti-aspen as far as the town & people go but there's some beautiful rides in the area-I spent a lot of my time in evenings after work & fishing the Frying Pan at Woody Creek Tavern-Hunter Thompson's old hang out-great food and people (they have a cool bar cat too) http://www.woodycreektavern.com/index.html

Any "have to visit" areas out in the area. I will be riding the mountains for two weeks, but trying to make sure I get the "have to"s done.
Not sure if this will be a one time trip or not, so trying to make the best of it.

We'll be riding out there the 28th thru the 2nd ourselves. Went to the website bestroadsbyhonda.com and clicked on Colorado to find some good rides. Looks like there are several hundred miles of scenic roads in Colorado to ride.

Gunsmoke/Godspeed-as I said before drop me an email on when/where your gonna be & I can give you specifics. If you have two weeks to ride the Colorado mountains you should have time to see plenty and just be a leaf in the stream.Must see? up to you once again-if you want to challenge yourself a bit go for the summit of Pikes Peak(14,115 ft above sea level)-it's paved all the way to the top now. Or maybe Mount Evans it's 14,240ft if you make the short hike up from the parking lot to the summit. Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous road in the USA at 12,153 Ft along with Rocky Mountain National Park it should be on the to do list. Any road on the Western side of the state is a good one-some are just better. I've ridden thousands of miles to ride roads that weren't as nice as the ones I ride every day around here. Ride the San Juan Skyway, the West Elk Loop, Top Of The Rockies-you just can't go wrong and there's special bars/motels/restaurants all along the way- Let me know if I can be of any assistance-my email's in my profile-have fun-just don't move here-Thanks, Brian
