I have the Ness..... it works well. A friend just got the Lloydz 2nd gen intake plate. Very similar in design... The Ness is quieter than the 1st gen Lloydz, but I think that the new 2nd gen Lloydz may be a tad quieter than the Ness filter now. I would go with Lloydz, but you can't lose either way.

Truly a "six of one or a half dozen of the other" type answer. Performance and noise wise there is going to be zero to negligible differences. So the best answer is to get it from a site sponsor.....Lloydz.

I use the original plate from Lloyd. It makes a little noise at idle, reminds me of cowl induction.

I had the original Lloydz intake and now have the new. The new is much quieter. I don't have any experience with the Ness version. I would just go with Lloydz!

I have a Ness and no complaints. I don't think there's any real difference. The dealership where I bought it from was having a customer appreciation day so I got it at a good discount. Can't loose either way.

Lloyd supports our site. Lloyd's name is synonymous with speed. Go with the Lloyd.

Lloydz has a catchier catch phrase. "Hard-on horsepower" so I'd go with Lloydz.

I have a Ness on my VV. It is in for service. The dealer ordered a new filter from Ness, it looks like it was wet in the package upon arrival -- 2 weeks AGO. We are still waiting on a filter. No such replacement from K&N.

Just say'n you might want to check out the parts supply on either one.
