Kind of a strange request but was wondering if anyone has broken their the piece that the passenger grips bolt to? I have a good one on my salvage vision but I am stripping it naked and I am going to have to cut mine. If you have a broken one I'd be willing to trade plus a lil cash for mine. I will even do the swap if you are close to me...

I included a pic of the piece, its the same piece that the ECU bolts to...

Yep, sure did, but it was back in August!! Threw it out a while ago. Replaced with new one along with the finish piece that fits under it. I was trying to pick my vicrokt up with a strap using the passenger grip. I had dumped it on a down-hill slope, in the gravel, and couldn't get a grip on the 'down-side' of the bike. It was too heavy to pick up since it was way past horizontal.

Live-'n-learn.

Mark, I remeber you telling me that and that you had scrapped it. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem. Looks like they arnt as easy to break as some people were saying??

No my dealer replaced the broken one went to Ma Vic for warrenty money was told no.

He covered the expense and told me to face away from bike and roll it upright because if it broke again he was not fixing it for free.

Have never lifted the bike by the handles again

There was no proper way to lift a Vision off of its tips until the plates started turning up cracked then Ma Vic released a Video to the dealerships showing the back to the bike rolling it up.

I pointed out to my dealer there ws nothing in the owners book about righting the bike.

And in the 2011 book there still is no mention.

But every dealer has the Victory DVD showing a guy at the factory rolling the bike up.
