Northeastern Penna. | What is the current opinion about buying these speakers? I heard the short video/audio clip comparing the stock speakers and the ones from J&M. Based on that I don't think there is much difference. Maybe the audio clip doesn't do much justice, but I've read threads for and against the upgrade. I'm interested in improving the speakers, maybe because of what I read here.This is my
first bike with a stereo,so I don't have anything to compare to. When I'm on the highway,cruising,
I feel the speakers sound good.I picked up the rear trunk panel and passenger backrest,wanting the option to ride the Vision in the street form.Riding that way,with only the front speakers,I feel they sound good as well.

US | I have an 09 Vision and I think the speakers sound good to me. I am just happy to have a stereo to listen too now! and cruise and heated seat and grips the list goes on and on.

Ma. | I added the J & M on my "08" Vision. The were better then stock and well worth the price (They are pretty inexpensive on e-bay). I hope to pick up my "09" Saturday or early next week. If the stock speakers are not much better in "09" then "08" I will purchase the J & M speakers again.

Carrollton, TX | Ditto on the J&M Speakers. I installed them on my 08 Vision and they made a big difference. They are more efficient so they will play louder at the same setting and you can turn the volume all the way up without the speakers distorting. The paper coated cones on the stock speakers will break down before long compared to the hard, injection molded polycarbonate cones of the J&M speakers. They are a good value for the money! |

Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Got to agree with Spock on this. There is no bike system out there that will sound like my Bose home system or my Infinity system in my Chrysler 300. But J&M's are a hell of an improvement over the stock speakers. |

O'Neill, Nebraska | Ditto here. The fun part was taking apart the dash to put the front speakers in. My wife tells me I just like taking the bike apart and maybe I shoudl ride it more.
Just kidding....5300 miles in 4 months. I know I'm behind a bunch of you guys but I've still gotta work! |

| I have been on this site almost everday since I got My 08 Cherry premium tour in September. I really enjoy it. This is the first time I have responded. I replaced my stock speakers shortley after purchase, with J&M. The low volume clarity is probably a little better on the stock, but once the volume is turnrd up distortion begins. The J&m's you can here much better over engine noise, and stage 1 pipes. I am satified, cost was very reasonable. My dealer installed the Ness hawg wired system on there demo bike. I never had the chance to here it. It failed on there bike, so they put the stock speakers back in. |

Fargo, ND | I also have the J & M aftermarket speakers installed. The price was reasonable and the install was pretty straight forward. I wear a full face helmet along with ear plugs to reduce wind noise and I can hear my system just fine with the new speakers. I don't have my system on constantly and I installed J & Ms in the front only. |

Reno County, KS | I paid under $90 with shipping and they sound noticably better at higher levels (above 15) where it counts. When you take out the stock speakers, you'll see that they are junk. |

Richmond, Virginia | Guess Im the black sheep. I just had the NESS upgrade power system installed in my bike. The power amp under the seat and the speakers are twice the size of the stock system. Besides blinding you with all my chrome, now i can destroy that teenager in the
car next to me with his windows down listening to RAP..... which is NOT music BTW, its bad poetry mixed with foul language, simmered in a heapin of disrespect all served up in a dodge neon with 2000 worth of tires and blue under lights ...............oops sorry
kinda went off on a tangent my Ness sound system is AWESOME where i had to volume up to 8-9 stock now i can volume up to 4-5 and hear crystal clarity. I didnt look at the J&M,,,, hell for all I know J&M could be making the Ness sound system. But my system is worth a comparison to J&M. |

Belding Michigan | Some thing must be wrong with me perhaps the tin ear my wife says I have when I try to sing along with the Radio. However I can not imagine listening to the radio set at 15 I wear a Half helmet with the rain fly so its called and I drive a combo of back roads and interstate with the volume set above 6 or 7 it blows me off the bike at speed when the AVC kicks in.
Am I missing something the AM/FM radio works fine and I listen to XM or the Ipod most of the time but I guess the speakers would be lost on me as it sounds great the way it is. Archie |

New Castle Delaware | Same with me. I basically only use the IPOD and I keep the volume at 11 or 12 and when the avc kicks in sometimes I turn it down. The only complaint I can see is maybe the bass could be better. |

So Cal | Had the J&M's on my e-glide. $100 was much better than HD's solution at $400. Lower volume levels are not where you notice the diffrence. If youre into cranking it up, J&M's will keep the distortion down. If you want perfection at high levels, your going to have to spend more. |
