on the edge of Los Angeles | So I have one that's got no more light can a bulb be changed or does the whole thing need to be replaced? |

Rancho Cucamonga, CA | It has an LED inside that should last the life of the bike. Make sure it is not just the connections. Dealers will sometimes forget to hook them back up after a service.
If you do a thread search, I believe you will find a few posts from people whom have taken them apart, but they weren't meant to be.

| If its burned out disconnect the wire under the dash. Now at the bottom of the badge there is a square hole you can stick a screw driver in and pop it off. Now you can pull the wire out with out taking the hole side panel off.

Pittsburgh, PA | Is it your left one that is out???? If so its a known issue... there is no bulb to replace. |

Brighton, TN | I had to take the side panel off, cause I don't know no better. After removal and inspection the wire had come out of the connector. Replaced under Warranty. |

Brighton, TN | Mine had two screw holding the mount into the silver swoop. I don't know if I could have just popped it out. |

Boy you nailed that one Yep its the left side and I have an 08 with 68K on it. I hand the panels off for other reasons and if I had a new badge I would have installed it. Call me crazy but I changed rocker arms, intake and throttle body cause I had them on hand (So now I have spares of those)
So now the bike is only half kool from the side at night. I think I may install some chrome inners later on and then I will also get new ones then. Thanks for the comments and pics all.
