Something that many of us went blindly into dispite it breaking mold. Then there is the Cross bikes that many has criticized as being too "Harley", but Vistory has a genious behind this, and it has come out with the "vintage" Cross Roads LE. Say what you will, Victory knows what it is doing, and if you will, this CR LE will be the cheap "Indian" in someones eyes with all the perks.
As for me, I'm one of the sheep that follow the Vision herd, so be it as it is. Let's relish in the fact that the passion to ride is not dead. |

Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | I have recently jumped into the void as well, with my 2011 Vision I purchased in August. They suckered me; I did a little research into the model and read the forums; but a couple of visits to the Vic showroom and a test ride; they hooked me.
Can't say I have buyer's remorse :-) |

Posts: 112 Denver, Iowa | I saw a Vision last weekend going down I-35. That's the second Vision I've seen since Sept 2010! Where are they all coming from?! Hopefully not too many other riders find out about us and buy one ...I kinda like being the odd duck! (see motivational posters about standing out in a crowd.) I'm afraid of getting sued by all those people that hurt their neck when I ride by... |

Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | You won't find me on any other bike. I decided to buy when my Harley riding buddy told me he wouldn't be caught dead on something that looks like that. What else did I need to buy? Love the looks I get and the absolute comfort riding. Oh yeah, leaving the Harley in the dust! |

| I fell in love with the Vision the first time I saw one at the 2007 Cycle World International Motorcycle Show in Rosemont, IL. I am on the local Ride for Kids Task Force and we were in the exhibition hall setting up our information booth before the show opened, once we were done we had about an hour to walk the show floor be the opening. As I was walking around I came across the Victory display and in particular the Vision, and while there were a couple on the floor and on the pedestals there was one Vision Tour that was mounted in a front wheel chock so that it stood upright for people to sit on. Well, seeing that nobody was around I climbed aboard and no sooner did I get into the riding position than a factory rep came into the booth, saw me and came up to talk to me. After discussing the upcoming production of the bike for about 45 minutes while still seated on it, I stepped off the bike and low an behold I had absolutely no pain in my knees like I had been suffering for the past two years when on rides over a half hour on my '03 GL1800 Goldwing. I decided there and then that once production began of the Vision it would be my next bike and on April 5th of '08 I took possession of a new Vision Tour Premium from Randy's Cycles in Marengo (used to be Huntley), IL and 38,000 miles later I still can't get enough of this wonderful machine! |

Posts: 104 ROCHESTER,NY | I too, like the rest have been bitten by the Vision Bug!!!!!! After sitting on one,in a showroom 3 yrs. ago.I finally had enough equity built up on th "07" electraglide. Now own a "12" Vision. ABSOLUTLEY NO COMPARISON!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like they used ME, when they designed it.I am 6'4'' and 300lbs. (for now). I have never fit on anything, be it street, or dirt or snow that fit's me like the V.V. I could go,on and on but if you ride one, or have ridden one YOU KNOW!!!! |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | BBQ, in the early days of posting on this forum I said the same thing "they used ME when they designed the bike." I stand at 5'8" with a 30" inseam. Why anyone would want anything else they have to fight to ride when the Vision is such a perfect fit for the masses is beyond me. |

Posts: 277 Apopka, FL | Just like Chris, (Varyder), I too am 5'8" and 30" inseam. I am much more at home on this big baby of a bike my '09 VV than I was my '02 TCD. She handles better, turns sharper, rides smoother and gives me better blow jobs--I mean air management. |

Posts: 599 New Mexico | That cracks me up - I told the wife the same thing when I bought my Vision. They made if for someone exactly my size, and I was concerned they had limited their market to people 6'1", 240lbs, 33" inseam.

Posts: 82 Fargo, ND | Well guys... someone at Victory is a magician because my VVTP fits me like it was made for me. I'm 6'7" tall and I have a 37" inseam. How could one bike fit so many riders????? MAGIC! And that is exactly what I feel when I ride my Vision, After 30 years of Harleys, I finally found the perfect fit! In every way!

| The only "cure" for Vision-itus is a nice case of Cross Country. Of course, one cure doesn't not treat all as there are some stubborn Vision Riders who continue to resist the temptations of the Vision's younger sister (Resistance is futile...)
Seems that about 50% of the population likes the XC so we are winning over a few of Harley guys to the XC while the Vision steals both Harley and Goldwing guys away.

| Harley owners can be a funny group though. I've let friends ride my Vision and while they agree its a better bike they still say "but it's not a Harley". My answer is "that's the point".

Posts: 12 Leicester, England | It was a Vision that got me back onto a bike after a 30 year gap. A couple rode up to Death Valley spring 2010 from Vegas and I justy happened to have stopped off at the same place while on vacation from England. I was blown away and 12 months later, after finding I was only 12 miles from one of the few dealers in the UK. May this year I bought a Vegas 8-Ball on the grounds that I feel it is better suited to our roads and my riding style. I am loving every trip be it 2 miles or 200. The only changes I have made are to make it even blacker!
Very rare to see another Victory and tonight I play the part of Meatloaf at a local Rocky Horror show with the Vegas replacing the HD. Pictures may follow.

| I'd feel a tad better if there wern't so many "Made in China" stickers all over my new 8-Ball. I know it's what they do but how long are we going to be able to buy these fine machines without a job. |
