| I stopped by SoCal Victory yesterday in La Brea to visit with John formerly of Cycle Dragon. They moved Victory into much nicer digs and have quite a few bikes on the floor. Very impressive. Anyway, I was riding out of the parking lot when John comes running over to tell me that one of his old customers with a Vision just dropped by and related to him that someone had actually stolen the passenger backrest and rack right off of his bike! I know they're impossible to come by but, really, actually unbolt it from someone's bike? Come on. So I guess we now have to come up with some way of locking both pieces to the bike. Geez... that's sick.

| I hope the useless bastard that stole the thing has a heart attack riding his bike and smashes his head...Not really, but we live in times when no one cares about others anymore and have to steal from those who may have something they desire.....The good Lord will take care of the jerk in his own due time......It really sucks as Victory no longer make this combo...... |

Posts: 741 Central New York | Taking into account how hard these are to come by, I would think that another of us Vision riders will be seeing one miraculously appearing on someones Vision. I would bet that the story told on how that person got it will not be overly convincing, most thieves feel entitled enough that they spin very bad tales. Keep your eyes opened out there in SoCa. |

Posts: 238 SF Bay Area | I parked in SF, and had my spark plugs stolen... actually, the tops were broken off and stolen. WTF? Anyway, the crackheads use the insulators as crack pipes, they never bothered with the plugs on my V92C, but on the Vision they are out there for all the world to see. I'm not a violent person, but in this case, I would have made an exception. I always carry spare plugs and a wrench now... |

That is just too sad. Some people have no respect. |

Posts: 81 Salinas, Ca. | I can't believe someone would specifically steal a Vision passenger backrest and rack, especially when its bolted to the bike!! Not saying that it didn't happen, just seems unlikely.... But stranger things have happened, that I know! |
