Posts: 161 Tampa, Fl United States | Just received the Victory Aux Light Kit(PIAA)
Instructions are vague, the 2 harness's look like nothing in the instructions one harness has a relay incorporated & & only 1 of the plug ends will plug into anything existing
The other harness will plug into an existing plug, but then you don't have a relay,
the other harness that has a relay is removable but is not a 303 & will not fit into the foglight opening in the fuse box
Please advise
My Vision is an 2008

Just put mine on, the wire that fits to the plug and splits off to go to the lights. That one you will need a 303 relay for that goes in to the fuse box.( had to pick one up from Victory )
Right side( if sitting on bike ) under windshield panel. It is marked Fog lights, just hook up the wires and put in the relay . It will work when you have the LID light on. Only on low beam.
The other wire that you have with the relay can be used if you want to hard wire the lights to a new switch.
Hope this makes sense.
Mike

Posts: 88 Billings, MT | I didn't like the idea of wiring my lights to the head light system! On an older bike ('93 Honda Shadow) the headlight system died while I was on the highway at 11 o'clock at night. Only reason i wasn't parked on the side of the road in the dark was my aux light were on their own switched circuit. I did this on the Vision also. The bonus, the extra switch spot on my dash. I bought another light switch, and wired the extra lights to that switch, now all three forward lights have their own switch. |
