Posts: 51 lakes region, NH | I know it's not my imagination, or the fact that I love riding my 2011 vision so much the miles are flying by. But I have noticed on both my Odo and trip odo that from 1 mile to the next they are not the same in length. Let me explain... I know it is 50 miles to work in all my cars that I've had so I was checking my vision and it too is 50. but when I ride down the road my first couple miles seem ok but then it will click off another mile within maybe 500 yards? anyone else notice this? I wonder if it has anything to do with the speed sensor for the abs because that has gone bad twice now in 8k miles. Thanks for any help. |

At 65mph mine ranged from 25oneonethousands to 55oneonethousands! might not sound like much but if it is reading mileage faster than it should my depreciation is accelerated also |

| The trip odo and the odo have been different since '99. Spike, the past prez of TheVMC.com, never reset his trip odo. Years later they were many miles different but then again the odo reads in 10ths and the trip does not. Difference in calibration? The gov't does not regulate the trip like the odo so no need for exact calibration, right. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I had my odometer losing miles, but nobody thinks it is a serious matter. What would happen was it could be on say 799 miles when I stop and turn it off. When I would restart it would be on 798, then it would take a mile before it would register 799 again, so there was a mile lost. I took note on a few occassion, using the 799 as an example, after turning 799, I went nearly a mile, so it should have been close to 800 miles. But when I turned it off and restarted it was on 798, losing nearly 2 miles. I noted these conditions for a long period and called the dealer. They never wanted to entertain my complaint, so I just said never mind.

| Dealer will not help you call or write victory and make them a ware of it. Keep records if you do like who you talk to and when and what time of day.
Documentations never hearts you just the other guy |
