I'm really starting to like those Cross Dresser Tours.
when i was trading in my 2008, i seriously thought about getting a X dresser.. but when i scrolled through the forums on here and vog.net, air management was the biggest complaint.... and going from a frame mounted fairing to a fork mounted one seemed to be a Big difference. on thevog.net there were vision members that went the X bike route and most of them had negative reviews over the differences with the Xbikes.... |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Ride one on a hot day. I rode the 2012 Vision with the lower deflectors and the 2012 CC Tour back to back to back on the last set of demo days.
There was no comparison on which ride had better air control and less heat to the rider. It was over 100 degrees that day and the Vision was best for over all for air control. Yes the lowers and the under fairing vents were set to provide me with maximum air flow on the CC Tour.

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | - like is not the same as getting one. when the crossers first came out with those wingy looking bars I just can't adjust myself to them. The tourer has functional lowers and the round bars. Personally, if I get a non-Vision, it will be one of the little scoots like a highball, or a vegas as a second bike only. otherwise, it's Vision baby... |

Posts: 72 Chino Valley, AZ | I took out one of the Cross Dressers out when the Victory Truck came though town, I like the extra storage and found that the batwing fairing was not as affected by the wind as some others I have ridden. That being said, ergonomically, the seat did not feel quite as comfortable as the Visions and the handlebars are too short. Ride wise, the noise was much more apparent than on my 08, it was 95+ degrees and the air flow seemed sufficient. Appearance wise I would take my Vision over any other bike on the market. |

I respect your personal opinion, but I don't agree it is a Harley knock off. It feels much more roomier on the Cross bikes than even the biggest Harley. It seems that way anyways, but what do I know, I've only test riden both once. I got clastrophobic on the Harley but was cured when I got back on my Vision

Posts: 188 Tifton, GA | I rode a Cross bike and it is a very good ride IMHO. Liandra is a great ride and it is hard to be humble when riding her. The temp was in the 80s so heat was not noticed. They look like what a Harley might have evolved into about 20 years from now. More storage, sharper lines, more power, better handling than current HD. |
