They sold me pn 2876577 heel toe shifter but ( looking at the directions ) it doesnt look right. Somebody told me all I needed was a heel shifter that bolts on to the factory toe shifter. Help

Roadie take a look at the stock shifter;

 http://parts.polarisind.com/Assemblies.asp

 You'll see that there is no way to add a heel shifter to it. Looks like they sold you what you needed.

 Congratulations on your new Vision, you're gonna love it.

I might of missed it, but what year is your Vision?
My 2011 needed a $100 add-on that attached to the existing toe shifter.

 You didn't say what year you bought. 2011 is a change from the 08-10. Completely different setups and not interchangeable.

Minor changes in certain things were made on the 2011 and up models. Different shifter style (and different heel/toe shifter part), different ipod cord, different GPS cable, things like that. If your vision is 2010 or earlier, you need a one-piece heel/toe shifter.

Same here. It's just a piece that bolts onto the existing toe shifter on my 2011

Just called the dealer , apparently the parts guy didnt know about the change in the 2011s , he said his catalog doesnt show it. Anyway they are making it right by sending the right one at cost no shipping. Thanks alot for the help.

FYI, I just went through this. I purchaed from dealer, what I was told was a heel toe shifter for a 2011 Vision. WRONG! it is for a 2008-2010.
They don't show one in their system for the 2011-2012.
Interested if there is one available, even after market??

Your dealer is wrong, I have a 2011 VV and pruchased the heel - toe shifter. Its not a one unit piece, you get just the heel part that attaches to the existing toe shifter. The only thing I dont like about it is the heel is chrome and the stock shifter is not. Its about a 5 minunte install.

If you were to go to the dealership and look at the accessories catalogue, you would find the add-on heel part only listed for around $100.
