Posts: 216 Danville, CA | Actually, I am putting these on my new Ness Vision when I get it next week. Go to Arlen Ness website and download their new Catalog. It has pictures in the Catalog.. I will give you some feedback and pics once I get installed in a few weeks.. |

| Say if you don't know how to copy and past or come up with your photos don't post. We have better things to do then chase around for you and come back and tell you what we think. By the way HMD has had ape hangers for visions for some time and he has photos. Maybe |

Posts: 499 Chattanooga, TN | Saw a VV at Daytona this year with the ness ape hangers. Looked really good. Spoke with the owner and he was really happy with them. Put his hands back in the wind though so not so great in the rain. He said it was really comfortable to ride since they were about shoulder height. |

Posts: 9 Ft Mohave AZ | I just put a set on my 8 ball. They are kinda a stretch for me @5'10". I just ordered a set from HMD that look to be less of a reach. Mike said it would be a few months due to his backlog on bars.
Sweet Ness in the vid BTW

Posts: 4 San Jose, CA | Beautiful Bike. Sounds really good and I love the Ape handlebars. I currently have 2007 Electra Glide Classic with a lot of custom stuff like rims and stereo. But, lately I've been really into the Vision. Yours is pushing me much closer to making the jump.
Thanks. |

Posts: 216 Danville, CA | Oldsoul. Have you test riden one. That was my downfall. I had a 07 CVO EGUC and just fell in love with the Vision..
Now, I look at an Electra Glide and it reminds me of an 8 track player.. LOL Old School...
Good luck and safe ridin..

| To do APE hangers you would need longer cables longer clutch and break lines along with longer wires.
Now with the bars up so high if you don't have "great" strength your going to have some ugly times. |

Posts: 4 San Jose, CA | Hey Brett
Haven't been on in a long while. I haven't took a test ride on one yet. My fiance and I have been to Arlen Ness a few times and I'm always sitting on them and checking them out. She keeps getting mad at me for not test riding one. But I'm afraid if I do test ride one, I'll end up leaving with it. Then what will I do with my Electra Glide. :-(
My main concern is the lane splitting factor. Like you, I live in California and the Bay Area and I split lanes alot. Not sure how safe and doable it is with the Vision. Do you split lanes on it and how scary is it?

Posts: 573 Central Illinois | An Electra Glide is just about the same total width as a Vision. I rode a EGU for 2 years and then a RGU for the next year and a half. I test rode a VV and it felt about the same width. It should arrive at my local stealer in 2 to 3 weeks and I have committed to buy it when it arrives at an agreed price, which is why the dealer ordered it in my color. |

I dont split lanes much but when i do i actually like the vision better because i find the bike handles so much better is much more stable, true, and responsive.. Maybe its just my confidence with the handling..Either way you slice it, the vision rocks and ride and handles like a dream.. Throw some cams and aggressive pipes and you will love smoking the HDs on the road.. . . Catch me if you can is what i say to myself while blowing by my HD bros... |

| Hate to make waves with the vision folks, but I just got done putting a pair of ness apes on my 08 Vision Street and Im very pleased. Actually it gives one more leverage and the bike, i feel, corners and handles as good or better, i say better than with the stock bars at all speeds, in a parking lot, through the twisty's and down the highway @ 90. I didn't say that... No "Great strength " required. And I'm only 5'7"-these bars are the cats ass. Thank you Arleness! Hold the applause.
Thank you
Steve Lepes
