Figured it was a matter of time and I saw the youtube.
But I thought what they did with the mirrors was nice. I always knew that we had the holes for the screw in mirrors, but I never thought to remove the fairing mirrors and put something else in place of them...
Now I'm thinking all sorts of practical applications (GPS mount with screen flush which will also provide weather protection, or an extra pocket for storage) and also horrible NEVER do this applications (netflix on my phone, tiny lcd TVs to pimp out the bike for a show).
I'm gonna mull this over while some of our accessory gurus think of some cool stuff they can make and sell to me that will fit in there and make use of mirrors that could be moved/replaced.
Alexi
PS - I'm thinking of tapping into power for my droid phone and seeing if the GPS will continue to get signal. It'd be a good weather protected and visible spot for it. |

Eliminate the blind spot completely, then when you're at a show or a cruise night change the feed to your ipod and playback video from your helmet cam on them. |

I really don't have a problem with the stock mirrors, I adjust them out so I see my pinky and two more fingers. However, regular mirrors would be better. And I like these. I'd like to try them. |
