Great write-up!

Can't wait to hear Lisa's views from the driver's seat. You know you're gonna have to buy two!

Thanks for confirming my gut feelings on this bike. Your discriptions of the ride, well to be honest, made me warm and fuzzy.

My wife is indifferent about riding. She's put up with the E-Glide, but the backrest, and wind are just to much.

I hope after her first ride, she can't wait to go again.

Nice writeup Miles. I was there and you reminded me of a few little details that I had forgotten. Nice style of writing and very descriptive.

We took our first test ride in Arlington, Tx., I actually got to ride twice. The write up by Miles is very accurate. My wifes comment was, " If you don't buy it, I will", so we put our deposit on one that week. Now we wait........!

By chance did you place your order with Victory of Arlington?

Thanks for the comments. I hope to take another test ride soon to somewhat compare experiences.

No, I'm actually from the Houston area, we took the ride at Arlington due to at the time there were not scheduled Houston test rides. I believe the Arlington dealer was at the test ride, we talked to someone from a dealer in that area.

Nice article. I (and the SO) would love to hear Lisa's perspective from the passenger seat!

I still say the Vision doesn't look like "space ship". It reminds me of a luxury touring chopper.

The wife and I love the Vision, but have to wait until Feb 08.

Lisa really didn't have a lot to say, but I really think the "passenger percpective" is summed up in one of her comments that was essentially if I had this bike, she'd ride with me more rather then take her own bike. That may not seem like much on the surface but she's been riding for a few years now, has done some significant mileage, loves to ride, so for a "rider" to actually look forward to being a passenger is something significant I think. This is also the first ride that I think I'd be comfortable as the passenger too.
