Posts: 154 Cabot Arkansas | I just left the dealer after looking at the new CC tour I gotta say IMHO the lowers look like an afterthought and just do not flow well with the lines of the bike, and they looked huge hangin off the side.I also looked at the new bronze mist and sandstone metallic vision. I like that color.I know they cut the msrp on the vision this year but compared to my 09 they also stripped quite a few things off ,like the billet wheels, chrome front shocks, chrome driver and passenger floor boards chrome tipovers ,HID light, chrome rectangular handlebars and chrome switch cubes and that's all I can think of .I think the cost to add back on the stuff they left off would bring the cost above what I paid for our Vision's in 09.Maybe next year the Vision will have 116ci and LED's and I might have to trade up but for now I am very happy with my '09. |

Posts: 173 Prescott Valley, AZ | Had the chance to do a couple demo rides yesterday and today and yes, I admit I'm spoiled by my 08 Vision Tour Premium. Not at all impressed with the Cross Country Tour, the heat generated by the lower fairings even with both full open was WAY MORE than what I get sitting on my Vision at a stop light in the summer in AZ!!! Lowers don't alow you to put your legs straight out, just plain not the bike I expected it to be, but then like I said, I'm spoiled |

I felt the same way about the heat of the CCT. The Vision with the lowers, could more easily control the air flow to the engine and the riders.
But for some that ride two up, there is more room for the passenger front to back, giving the passenger more room.
