Posts: 457 Green Bay, WI United States | Bought some NuFinish polish today because it was priced right. Bought it to use on the RAM pickup as well as the two bikes. Went on line and did some research and it said that it is not a good polish for dark paint. Both bikes are black as well as the truck. Any others have any background on this polish? I have been using the spray cleaner/polish that was put out by Honda a few years ago and it works fine on the bikes but I wanted to try something new that could be used on all my rides. Have a great holiday weekend and as I always say:
Ride hard, ride fast but above all ride safe and free....

Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | The nice thing about liquid glass is that after many applications it actually forms a hard layer that protect Victory's soft clear coat-it has no wax in it. The bad thing is it takes time- 4 hours between coats and then exposing to hot sun to cure- and it can leave a residue if gets on the plastic or on any crevices.Nothing better for black parts that tend to haze from contact. Once enough layers are built it's real easy to maintain and any scratches will be in the liquid glass-we hope. Brian |

| I think NuFinish is for making badly faded paint look good and is only short term and quick fix. IMO stay away from that stuff on your bike. Used the Liquid Glass stuff years ago and was great but a royal PITA to apply and "cure" as ByteN2it says. About $20-$25 a can. Motorcycle application would be much quicker due to smaller overall area vs. a vehicle. |

I use Captain Richards Best for cleaning and polishing, and The Bomb metal polish is the best I have tried.

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | I use Geoff Bodine's Frenzy and find it is an excellent cleaner, it seems to keep the bike cleaner longer. Today I went out to clean the bike as it needs it, but it was raining, so I went for a ride instead. |
