Posts: 42 Prescott, AZ | I am having second thoughts about the 2012 Ness Vision I have on order. First, I'm tired of waiting. Second, although I love the orange color, I am not a big fan of the flames and how busy they are, but at the same time I don't like the plainness of the front fender and trunk. Third, I think I can pick up a 2011 Ness vision for around $23,000 this week. Although I am not in love with the 2011 Ness graphic design, I can certainly live with it.
After searching this forum and others, it doesn't seem like anybody here has talked about their 2011 Ness Visions. Anybody have any thoughts about the 2011 vs. 2012 other than color? I guess this would apply generally to the 2011 vs. 2012 Vision debate as well. It just seems to me that spending around $23,000 + ttl on a 2011 and getting a 5 year warranty to boot instead of $25,799 on a 2012 with a 2 year warranty is a more prudent financial decision if I'm indifferent about the color. Apparently, the 2012 will have 5 more horsepower and 4 more ft/lbs of torque, but I am not sure how much this will make a difference and I plan to do some performance mods in any event.
Thanks for your thoughts and sorry to ramble. |

What else draws you towards the Ness over the others?

Posts: 42 Prescott, AZ | Well for the 2011 models, the only color I liked was black. For 2012, I only like the blue, black, or Ness orange. I think if I can get that good of a deal on the 2011, then it might be a better financial decision although emotionally I like the 2012 Ness orange slightly better than any other colors. |

Posts: 216 Danville, CA | Agreed.. Me too... I saw Arlens 2012 at their shop the other day and it looks wicked.. He customized it and add some black to it. Looks like you and I will be 2 of the 200 or so who get one.. Good luck.. Mine is on order but not ship date yet. They do the CA bikes last I guess according to dealer... It like X-mas eve and I am jonesing... |

| Saw a 2012 at Arlen's store a couple of weeks ago. Pictures on line don't do justice to the paint and flames. Not as orange looking in person. Sweeet ride.

| My dealer here in Indy got the one from Arlen's CA store and sold it to the guy who's trade-in I bought. The dealer told me they are slow getting the 2012's out because of a shortage of some alloy used in the cams or some such nonsense. |

| I'm sorry your losing your desire. I would gladly wait if I could afford a new Ness.
