Subject: Confused - What do they call Standard Equipment 2010-11

Some things you read and videos you watch say this stuff is standard:

Electric Windshield
Heated Seats
Heated Grip
Tip Overs - Non Chrome

But then you go to the Vic web site under cusomize and they're "options" that increase the price, I don't get it. Can you guys shed some light?

Not all models come with some of what they call stander equipment. The vision 8 ball doesn't come with electric windshield or grips.
The trick is you want something you order it as a replacement part. You will save money.

Bing all those options are standard on a regular Vision. Your front tipovers will be chrome, 2012 models do not have the chrome fronts, it is an option.

The way I read the website power windshield and heated grips and seat were addon for the 2012. Pricey ones at that.

This was to bring the price down from what I've read. On the 2011 they were standard, and if you compare pricing it shows.

Springfield, MO		We got our first '12 Vision today, power windshield, heated grips, heated seat, ABS, lighted tank badges all still factory equipment. Biggest changes i have noticed are black handlebars (vs chrome in prior years) and halogen driving beam (vs HID in premium models and all '10-'11 Vision Tours).
