| Just had have my vision 6 days now. Tomarrow will be the 1st service. The dealer doesn't have to do them after this do they? Always done my own. |

Do not worry about the double posts....the just happen sometimes. I am not a lawyer but....I have read that if you can prove that all of the service requirements were met....you can do it all.

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | all my bikes i did my own first service and the dealer(s) even said it was NO big deal. I just purchased a 2011 vision 15 days ago and they offer a FREE 1st service. but im still going to do it myself. BECAUSE you have to drop the bike off, and for me thats a complete hassle... so as soon as i get the mileage i need i will do it myself and save the receipts. Just like i did on my 08 vision. |

Posts: 92 Fort Walton Beach, FL | Do it yourself... then you will know what has been done and what has been said was done ,but not necessarily done. The only requirement down the road if you were to have a major warranty issue that you couldn't fix yourself is that you keep a contemporary log book of work done... it is always nice to have receipts but even that is not required by law...
