OK, I purchased a VV iPod cable for the 2009 radio. I can change songs and albums, but shouldn't I be able to scroll the playlists or albums? I can't see what is next to play. Is there a post showing how this all functions?

Confused in iPodville...

BTW, I have the iPhone 3G (just waiting for the 5 to come out)... should I get a Nano or is the 3G a flash drive unit also?

to scroll you double click the tune button and it will show you what is coming up next, playlists can be changed by pressing one of the radio channel buttons on the centre console

You can change playlist by using the pre-sets, but you can't scroll through the songs on a 2009. I believe that feature became available in either the 2010 or 2011 VV radios.

Give the PDF at the link below a read. It will help you access 11 of your playlists in a predictable way.

Out of curiousity, could it be a feature of a later flash version? Meaning, could it be that he has older radio software and needs a reflash?

The 2008-2009 radio cannot scan for playlist to my knowledge. It would be nice....
