Posts: 45 San Antonio Texas | Well, we own the first one and have ridden the 2012 versions of the others.
We rode a Harley Road Glide today. For the two of us it was a miserable ride.
Absolutley no room between us. I was pushed up to the tank. My feet were
hanging half off the outside edge of the floorboards to get my legs away from
the engine. Momma's legs were hot. Right side was the worst. No air flow at
highway speeds. Had to downshift to pass with any authority.
I will now be nice: Pretty paint.
Momma said to get it with a solo saddle because she would't ride it.
Cross Country Tour here we come. Power, style, comfort, air management,
41 gallons od storage, and pretty paint
I am glad the world loves Harley. Leaves Victory for all of us.

I went to Caliente Harley-Davidson today about 1:45 till 2:30. Met some friends there who were demo riding. I was going to go for a ride but it was just too hot!
One friend went home....the other wanted to listen to the band. I just went home and finished a project I have been working on....more about that later.

Posts: 45 San Antonio Texas | Bigfoot- That is why I said our experience wasn't good. I know a lot of couples that log thousands of miles on a Harley and would not have anything else. I think we could rent one on a vacation somewhere in cool weather and enjoy the ride. Do you usually get an Electra Glide or a Road Glide?
RT- You missed us by about a half hour! We gotta get this timing better. When the weather changes a bit, momma will want to ride more. Got a great watering hole to take you to up in Bandera. We can cut out of S.A. early and hit the Three Sister then stop in Bandera as we aim back for San Antonio. |

If you don't mind an extra bike, I wouldn't mind an invite! |

lonestarmedic,
Sounds great! cchristo I hope you can make it as well. I was out there a few weeks ago and got so hot that I could have used a medic and an IV.
I learned a neat trick....in a mesh jacket going 60 miles an hour.....if you pour water on the front of your jacket it flies off of you and hits the dash! It was like it was raining from my chest to the windshield.
I was thinking that I needed to pour it on my back to be able to feel the cool water while at speed.
