| Here is my situation, my 2008 VV Tour has just over 39,000 miles second owner all maintenance has been performed and has been running like a top for past 18 months and 13,000 miles since I have owned it. It has just started to sputter once or twice as popped for first time as I was pulling into garage tonight, any thoughts?
I was also wondering if anyone has ever used a fuel treatment to clean fuel injectors?
Appreciate any feedback, oh yeah evrything is stock and use high octame gas, however I did fill up and a different gas station on this tank and that's about when it started come to think about it.
Peace, |

Get a turkey baster and draw out some fuel from as far into the tank as you can reach and transfer it into a clean, clear glass jar and let it sit a few minutes then look for water @ the bottom. About all you can do is draw out as much as you can and refuel from your 5 gallon can. The gas should burn with no problem in your car or truck where you've got more piston area to deal with any water. |

| Right on SYNSTR, appreciate the idea, what about using any type of fuel treatment have you ever used in Vision or heard if it is recommended or discouraged?

| If they have it your area you might try Lucas fuel additive. I use it in both bikes and both cars and it works well for me. |

Bought and used a lot when I lived in Alaska |

Makes me think of spark plugs, I have to change mine out every 15,000 for optimal running. Speaking of comining up on a change. |

| first off check battery go to hardware store and buy two star washer 1/4 size should work just fine.
With ethonal in our gas thats lile 10% alcoholic witch should clean just fine.
Popping comes from unburned gas in the mufflers and you get a pop. Vic doesn't have the best ecm so we get popping

Found out she's not doing well, suffering with ALS, my reply 'Tell her to get worse quicker'. |

BTW-a drop of Seafoam behind each ear and I'm good to go-keeps me from fart-er-popping |

P.S. My ex-wife is not totally worthless. She can always be used as a bad example when discussing judgment and morals.

So, you get the complimentary shout-out, it's like a nod to the old guys in the club, who've seen it, done it, got the t-shirt. Much like th ex's mentioned above.
So, just let me be one of the one's to also give you a tip of the hat, for what you do for the rest of us Vic riders. Oh, Yeah, since your feeling good about the commentary, when you get home this evening go ahead and play a little tag with that Scotch above the fridge you've been eyeing, you deserve it. |
