Figured I'd get in and introduce myself. I'm Mike (Myko) out of N Virginia. I've been in receipt of an '11 Vision Tour for just shy of 2 months now. The bike was a surprise birthday gift from my wife... seriously as I had no idea it was coming until the day we got in the shop and it was sitting on the floor.

I've been eyeballing the Vision since it first came out. It immediately appealed to me. Either bad timing, or stealers who couldn't take the hint, I was never able to test drive one. I always knew that if I did, I would have one... I was close in late '09, but then Harley released the Street Glide as a CVO (Screaming Chicken) and I was possessed to have it. Sold my '07 Deluxe, all my field recording gear, and various other items. I've had that bike for 19 months and it's sitting a little short of 30K miles.

We also picked up a Ural Patrol this past winter, so obviously I thought we were done with bikes for quite sometime.. it appears not! The Vision now has 5300 miles and this is has been a working summer with no time off.

Anyway, that's it for now.

Later,

Myko,

Welcome. Visions do have a way of collecting lots of miles. Let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome! If you think you might want to sell the HD don't put any more miles on it. A high mile HD is hard to sell because there are so many low mile ones available.

That's funny.

Welcom Myko, I'm in Central VA, let us know if you get down the way. I grew up in NoVa but left the area in '77 and try not to go back. However, when I dare, I like to see how things have changed in 50 years, like when Dulles Airport was out in the country away from everything.
